Where From Here?

When I start a website I like to speak of what comes to mind at the time of sitting down to write. In other words, I like to stay fresh and not stick to one subject. What interests me most is how denigrated the bible has become these days. It has been prophesied that the generation before the end of this world as we know it would be preceded by a generation that did not know God. I can’t be certain exactly what was meant by that but if God has not been worshiped by an entire generation this one rather fits the bill.

Looking back I began reading the bible, not because I was told to but because I wanted to. I started with Genesis and worked my way through to Revelations. I was aged twelve when I began so I didn’t understand a good amount of what I read. Still, it imprinted upon me a moral structure we don’t see in our world now. Not hurting others was a large portion of what I took from my reading. I suppose that also is pretty much gone from general behavior now. Hurting others seems a sport to me as I see the news, hear from friends, or witness locally.

So, where from here. I think I want to do just what I started by sitting down and writing of what I know or think I know. I will also add some of the scriptural dogma here for those unfamiliar with the bible. Practical items of comportment such as the laws against adultery. You know, minor things like keeping one’s heart clean and, thus, doing good for others. Hand in glove is what decency is and decency is laughed out loud at now, generally speaking. Treating others as yo would like to be treated is yet another bygone law from God.

Then again, there is much about politics to write about as one political party seems to have gone against God’s word while the other at least pays it lip service. One needs to understand that to worship God means keeping distance from politics instead of diving head first into it. Staying in grace and not playing around the edges is necessary. Well, it is getting late and these are last thoughts for this day from me. If you would like to suggest paths you are welcome to comment here. I am ready, willing and able to go where you would like to me to. Except to the dumpster, of course.
