Race

If you’re anything like me at all you’re sick to death of race and racism. This is a modern term of denigration and attempts to lump all humans of one race into a mold preconceived by filthy minds. Minds that generate so much static that clear thought is impossible. If we refer to race at all it is proper to call us all the human race.

This does a few things. It removes the “special” moniker of superiority all together. It puts us in a category of beings that are all imperfect and always have been. It evens the bromidic playing field and also gives us a place to start and asks the pertinent question: “Who the hell do we think we are?”

In God’s eyes we are all the same but for our actions. The odd thing about race is that each is a slightly different color. How about praising God for His creativeness by not making us all the same but endowing each of us with independent thought? For that matter, how about praising God instead of denigrating each other for our differences. How about we all pray together and worship our Creator and thank Him for this chance at life?

Good Lord, I am old fashioned aren’t I?
